About Paul Bradbury

Paul Bradbury started a dive course in October 1994 that was to change his life.

As a PADI dive master in the UK he spent many weekends helping instructors with their students in the cold waters of British quarries and the not quite tropical British ocean.

A visit to the RED SEA in 1995 opened his eyes to the amazing possibilities that a diving instructor abroad might have. Then, a 9 day vacation to the Dominican Republic in 1998 was the straw that broke the camels back. Paul fell in love with the country and the people there and decided not to get back on the plane. He stayed in the DR.

He passed his instructor exam in October 1998 and became an IDC Staff Instructor in October 2000 and a Master Instructor (One of the highest professional levels) in December 2001. Paul moved to Oahu, Hawaii in 2001 where he also studied to be a ships captain and holds a 100 TON US licence.

Paul is also a first aid instructor and has had teaching certificates for Scuba Schools International (SSI) and Scuba Diving International (SDI/TDI)
He is also a IANTD EANx Mixed diving gas blender (NITROX)

Paul has certified over 1000 students at all levels and has the following specialities.

Oxygen Resuscitation, Boat Diving, Drift Diving, Dry Suit Diving, Underwater Navigation, Underwater Photography, Wreck Diving, Multi Level Diving, Night Diving, Deep Diving, Enriched Air, Underwater Naturalist.
